The first fight will take minimum 15 mins. It has been done and guides are available on YouTube. Since you wont have any weapons (or money) you cannot use a saber but you can slowly peck his health away with rush and brawler
Money isnt important in this game, most weapons costed from 10-800k but the 800k ones were the extremely op cannons which arent needed. I think the saber was 300k or something but when playing the story and doing side activities you get money. Platinum plates are a good way of getting money and so are Coliseum battles which you can use the points to buy expensive items to sell at ebisu
Majima everywhere is THE best way to farm exp. I grinded this before i even got to the last boss fight and unlocked every skill. You can get towards to 300xp per fight when majima is in the s rank phase
Best counter is Brawler or Beast (If anything lying around). Weakest style.
2. Breaker style:
Most annoying. After unlocking Tiger Drop, just spam it. If you not have one, your best bet is Beast or Rush.
3. Slugger style:
Strongest style. Best bet is Rush.
4. Mad Dog of Shimano. I know this style the best because i beat the **** out of Majima in first fight.
Spinning attack-Nasty, but short ranged. After it, Majima recovers for some seconds, opened for some blows. If you fast enough, you can utilize a heat action.
Lunge-Majima freeze for second, when lunge for you. Easy to dodge.
Jump Strike-the most dangerous. Majima jump straight and land a slash. Don't know why, but you cannot punish him while he recovers.
Straight Kick-if you very close, Majima can punish you with sudden kick in the gut.
Rush Combo-Reverse Kick, Knife Slash, Leg Sweep Combo, Wheel Strike and Slash (very nasty finisher deal heavy damage). Majima choose number of attacks randomly.
Knife Fall-if you are down, Majima will make a jump to stab you.
Essence of Down Finisher (Front)-only used when Majima get Heat. Very randomly and happens only once.
Essense of Down Finisher (Back)-same, but when you lying on the front.
Essense of Knife Stab-If you hit multiple times within Majima's Rush Combo. Majima needs to be in Heat.
Get up faster-Majima almost instantly get up. Only when in Heat.
Mad Dog Laughing-when you are down, but not close, Majima get step back and laught at you.
Grab Resistance-Majima almost always get out of your hold with 3 random outcomes: Evade, Kick gut with knee or push to the ground (Majima never punish you after this).
but the socks can only be bought from Bob Kiwami and it costs 10 CP and.
this works with any macro but make sure to put delays in between each keystroke
Majima has the same move set as the Mad Dog style from 0 if you've played that. This allows you to have an idea for what attacks he's going to pull and what vulnerabilities there are. His spinning blade attack, i.e. makes stuns him for a few moments if he misses you. Kiting in Rush and getting in for a few 4 hit Beast combo's will take you far. Don't mess with dragon style yet, it's far too weak that early. Beast mode also makes it easier for you to grab the signs etc and beat on him without being vulnerable. He's got 3 health bars so it will take a LONG time, make sure to have the sacrificial effigy and enduring stone equipped as back up. I just watched a vid on YouTube that makes the battle easy, though it still takes some time. The Marlin doubles as a melee weapon which is great because since it's a gun it has infinite durability, meaning it's good for blocking but also can be used to spam attacks keeping Majima on defense. If you beat him that's 10k xp!
