Rotation Pool is downright infuriating

Does anyone have any tips for getting even close to winning? Or is 'git gud' actually the only way to really win? I've spent maybe 3 or 4 hours since the patch fixed it and every time I get completely screwed over.

try to use 1-8 balls to pocket the high value balls, that help me a lot, and luck sometimes the AI miss.

Use combination shots that is what help me

Use a piece of paper or any sort of straight edge to line up your shots. Get good at banking at the beginning. If you don't get to break, quit. Try to do what he does when he gets to break. I don't get the 13 ball typically like he does but I get something, allowing me to keep playing. After that, try REALLY hard not to mess up. Try to go for combination shots for the high scoring balls.

I just got REALLY lucky with Carom Shots and accidentally got 14 and 15 before the first lane is filled.
Seriously though, if you can't get a clear shot with the target ball. Use that ball to get a combination shot, like the others have said.
