Call me whatever however you want but I think it's because game industry has such things as Exclusives. I know about Yakuza series only because long time ago I played Yakuza 1 on my brothers PS 2. If not that - I would not be familiar with the series. More of that - I just don't know how PC community may know smth about series without any promotion. I think big part of PC only owners doesnt look into PS games even if they do - it's not a guarantee they meet yakuza on eye.
As for comparing games Yakuza 0 - is a brilliant game for me. Kiwami is good but Y0 is still better.

I feel really bad for the sales and I wish more people would've know how good and strong this games are.
As I told before - would've price any numbered Yakuza games in Steam for full price.

Why can't you just watch some videos about Kiwami 2?;)
There is a new engine, better picture, another combat system, no loading when you entering some cafes etc. )

Well, Dragon Engine is definitely not the best thing in a world and I prefer old engine but yeah, graphic is obviously better.

There is a lot of content in Kiwami 2, cabaret mini-game is back and there is also Majima Construction (some people hate it but I had a lot of fun with it) + they added 3 extra chapters where you play as Majima as a little fan service.

Story is inconsistent, first chapters are fantastic, middle feels mediocre but ending is really good (with some usual plot twists and betreyals).

I prefer Kiwami over Kiwami 2 tho, story from first game was always one of my favorites but maybe that's just nostalgia.

I'm just used to old graphics I guess and there was a lot of problems with Dragon Engine, especially in Yakuza 6. I'm really not a fan of combat on new engine, that's my biggest problem.

But I heard they improved a lot in Judgment so we'll see.

Yeah its bad. Idk. Things arent lookin too good. I hope not but im getting vibes this might be it PC ports wise.... Atleast we got 2 games instead of no games.

It's silly, even ridiculous to hate others for their taste or choice of games. Everyone is free to spend his money as he sees fit - because it's his money. Everyone seeks different things in games, as in books or films or other forms of art.

It should be a subject of searching, discussion and constructive analysis, not hate and contempt.

Story of 1 / Kiwami is a lot more . . . "grounded," you might call it compared to 2. 2 gets kind of crazy with plot twists, gambit pileups and plain silliness (it has a yakuza boss literally called Sengoku (granted, not written 戦国) who has taken over Osaka castle as his HQ, painted / plated it gold & filled it with members of his family dressed & armed as samurai and ninjas, along with a couple of tigers, as his personal guard).
