Jo Amon is probably the most badly designed superboss I have ever seen
The concept behind a superboss is that they are the ultimate test of your skills. That if you're super good at the game, there is a chance you could beat them your very first try. A very slim chance, but a chance nonetheless. But there is absolutely no way this boss was designed with skill in mind. He was deliberately, intentionally designed to be as unfair and cheap as possible, and requires a cheap strategy to beat. He's lightning fast, can drain your health in a second, can't be grabbed, can't be blocked, has no pattern, has more health than 3 Rank SSS Majima's combined, and can't be reacted to fast enough for the human eye, let alone the brain, to process what's going on.

It doesn't matter how good you are at this game, or how much mastery you have over this game's combat system: all of that means absolutely nothing here. This is the kind of boss design I would expect from a 10yrold who makes a Sonic the Hedgehog fancharacter that's stronger than everyone else and can destroy the entire universe with a snap of his fingers. The only tolerable way to deal with him is to spam Tiger Drop, and even then, it's entirely a gamble whether you get an opportunity to do so or not, as once you get down to the last 3 health bars, any one of his attacks can drain almost your entire health bar and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

I do agree that it feels like artificial difficultly for Jo. Although

His attack speed gets faster when his health is low, like full on godspeed mode when he's in mad dog phase and his unexpected knife stab attack that deals 90% of your health.

But then I feel like to challenge myself if I can beat him in less than a minute on Ex-hard (NG+) difficulty with overpowered equipment setup. Here is the result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb9CbRJxN1k

His speed gets ridiculously faster when he's in low health in both phase with his god speed combos and his unexpected knife stab. It's so fast that obliterates your health in 1 blow.

But I like to challenge myself if I can beat him in less than a minute on Legends difficulty with overpowered setup... It only took me about multiple tries for my satisfactory but I did it. Here is the result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb9CbRJxN1k
isnt this on easy difficulty tho, on hard difficulty tiger drop never did so much damage to anything

You may think it's on easy mode but it's really not. Plus, there's no option to switch any difficulties on the in-game settings.

I made a previous record time where you can see the difficulty setting on the menu screen at 0:11 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=to9Borutgpk
The reason I deal so much damage to him is because I've been using this OP equipment:
Payback Ring - increase damage for all fighting style in low health.
Dojima Family Amulet - increase damage for the dragon style
At the start of the fight, use the Beast's Time for Destruction mode with full heat.

Combine this setup that will increase the damage multiplier up to 3 times the power with the tiger drop.

You can beat any bosses (Majima in full health on rank SSS) in literally one punch with this setup, it's ridiculous.

I Tiger-dropped him for the most part in his first form and Sumo-slapped the ♥♥♥♥ out of him in the second with the help of some heat medicine, since going anywhere near him with a dagger in his hand was akin to suicide if he got you badly.

Yeah he is very annoying. And I never had any of the special equipment like the Payback Ring or Dojima Amulet. How I did it was stock up on Satiminan Royals and for the first stage, the often used for him Tiger Drop. For his second phase I managed to hold on to most of my energy drinks and just spammed the knife heat action against the wall, I was not up to the task of Tiger Dropping him when he had his knife, I just got floored. So I just heat actioned him with Majima's knife and hoped for the best. I did it on my last drink. It wasn't the best strategy as sometimes I would get caught near him after the attack and he would spin attack me before getting up, luckily this never hurt much and I could dodge him for the most part. The only equipment I had was the bloody binder.....not sure it did anything but yeah, heat knifed him over and over again. Oh and I also used the Dragon style too, during his first phase a couple of normal heat moves when he tries to attack did alright, but I wanted to limit the heat actions on the first stage but sometimes I would miss time it and end up slapping him instead but not very often.

People forget this is a rpg. "Cheats" and buffs are perfectly OK.
