So this bug from yakuza 0 still exists

Am I the only one getting this?

When you order in a restaurant that offers one drink first before the meal, the drinks doesn't get ordered despite ordering one (and also while not being drunk at all). Kiryu only eats the meal but skips the drink. This prevents me from completing the CPs plus it's going to take a lot of time going in and out, waiting in loading screens just to hope this time kiryu actually drinks the drink.

I friggin hope I'm not alone in this one. This is the game breaking bug that's so hard to ignore. I try to just live with the texture pop ins and lack thereof sometimes.

Today I tried this restaurants and found no issue. I will post here some screenshots if you like, but tomorrow. Today I will be unable to play.
P.S. No issue in 0 too for me.

Try Yorotanaki and that Takoyaki store near Theater Square. I think they are restaurants that asks for drink first.

I thought I saw another poster saying that what fixed this was not changing the selection for the drink once you pick the one your trying to buy.

I see! That must have been it. I was being indecisive like an idiot when I choose drinks but sometimes I just choose and go. I didn't see the previous post but thanks. I will test this before I mark your answer as solution. Maybe it's a different issue with my PC.

Thanks for the contribution! So as it turns out, there's a bug that doesn't count your drink when you change your mind on choosing drinks. If you press "right", you shouldn't cancel the order otherwise the code will get messed up and will not count the drink.

You must've bought the drinks without canceling the order.

As I experienced now, if you press "cancel" in drink menu, you will proceed to food menu without ordering a drink (because you cancel it by yourself, obvious). If you press "cancel" in food menu, you will order only a drink without a food.

yeah, and because it defaults to cancel when you order the drink it's easy to accidentally say you don't want it on the confirmation when you spam the button trying to speed things up
