Heat gain in dragon style

I have this on ps4, but that doesn't really have a dedicated forum, so I figured I would ask here.

I don't seem to be gaining heat when attacking in dragon style. I have the heat of the dragon skill, but that only lets me use heat actions not fill up the bar. Am I missing something here?

No, there is a specific skill you have to unlock to gain heat in Dragon style. Until you get that skill you can gain heat in one of the other 3 styles and then switch to Dragon style if you need to.

Yeah I got it now. Had to do the Zombie Majima event.

I found that I gained heat when I was in Rush style and when the enemy was attacking, I just slide around and the heat would go up. And if he was not attacking, when I slide around, I lost heat.

I also noticed that when in Dragon style, getting a successful hit will increase your heat. That is why tiger drop is so powerful, some even say that it is over powering. But you will have to time it right. But when fighting the last assassin, the so called secret boss, he can attack you right away after you landed a tiger drop on him. Tiger drop hurt him and stops him in his track. To make your hit even more powerful, apparently, you need to equip yourself with specific equipment and also with your health bar in red, then your tiger drop hit will cause massive damage to him plus restoring your health at the same time. I haven't got those equipment, I believe one is from completing the climax battle series which is only available after you complete the game once. You can google to find the exact name of the equipment and how to get them. I am on my 2nd go trying to get the legend achievement so I still have a lot to learn. Hope this help. Good luck.

Rush evade when timed right will increase your heat when you got the skill, More than 3 evade will drain your heat unless you got the skill to extend it to 5

Ah yes, that is what I thought until I saw a video on Youtube. I can try to find it again. In the video, kiru had really low health. One tiger drop on the secret boss, Kiru's health was back to 100%!!!??? So, until I get all the equipment as listed on his video, I cannot confirm the validity of his video. However, the video was heavily edited so you may be right as I suspected. There is no equipment that will heal apart from the energy drinks.

Hello guys, I have a big issue. I unlocked a lot of moves for the Dragon Style, but this is so unnerving, nothing works.
For example, I'm supposed to have now the Komaki Fist Reveal, and I know that I can counter any ennemy when I don't lock him, I just have to press Y. But it just doesn't work. The Y button doesn't appear, I can't perform any Heat Action in Dragon Style, even if my meter is full. Why ??

The button prompt for komaki fist reversal only appears during the enemies attack animation. Just wait for a enemy to wind up their attack and the prompt should appear.

I don't know mate tbh. Because it seems like I can't perform any Heat Action at all. Last time I was fighting Taxi driver Majima on the docks, so he was in Mad Dog mode, and when he was stunned I couldn't perform the Kiwami Heat Action.

To do the essence of kiwami on mad dog majima you need the essence of extreme dragon from the dragon style. You will only get that skill when you hit sss rank with majima. So it was normal that you could use it at that time.

Alright, I'm a bit reassured now, because I have finally been able to use Heat Actions with Dragon style. Like the neck break from behind, the slaps, etc. But at the end of the day, I still can't explain why it didn't work before, because the situations were similar.
