Thanks but I'm not dealing with trying to get a refund, I'll just leave the bad review instead.

Well... I understand your frustration. Do what you think is fair.

How did DIG aquire the keys? You sold them to them, right? How are any of the minutiae of the contract between you and DIG our concern?

Who revoked the keys from our Steam accounts? You or DIG? Guess you did. This seems like really bad form on your part.

No. They don't buy anything. I send the keys for them to sell, and after that, they send me 70% of the profit. It is like this for all key stores like Humble, Nexus.gg, etc.
However they should only sell the game for the normal price ($24,99 with a base discount of 10% in their case) or when I set discounts myself. Instead, they sold the game for 0.33 in a Bundle, which I never allowed or had any intention.

This happens more than you probably know, developers seem more than happy to let plenty of people feel robbed when they take back a game they sold keys for. They do not care if 1000 people paid for it, they feel they have the right to rob all of them.

I would never revoke any key I sold to anyone. This is not what happened.
We send keys to stores without any upfront payment, as explained above. I only receive any money after they sell the key to customers and get their cut.
Seems like the easy solution here would be to offer a $1.00 discount on Steam to anyone who bought the bundle. That would be a 300% refund for every person who spent $0.33 for their copy. That’s as win-win as it gets.

Yep.
I'll do better than that, I will offer a discount worth the full Bundle price (which was $2,99 for the 9 games).

Reach me on Discord to get your discount: discord.gg/6YYKkmdMkp

Ok, according to you DIG owes you money (if they are contractually obligated to pay you 70% of $24,99 of every key sold but only paid you 70% of $0,33 as you claim). But again, how is this my concern? This is between you and DIG.

You wouldn't? Then who did? The keys were clearly revoked, someone did.

I don't know why people get so upset over this stuff. You need to put food on the table and this game is well worth the value even at full price. Almost 200 hours of sleepless nights due to this game is well worth the 20ish I paid for it. Thanks for putting this update out which is more then $70 game devs do...

Follow up:

In respect to people who acquired the Bundle and lost the game copy, I'm offering a $2,99 (Bundle's full price) discount to buy the game directly from me, stacking with any discount currently on Steam. This is a 100% refund on the Bundle and you can wait to cash it once the game enters a Sale again, if you want.
How to: reach me in our Discord (discord.gg/6YYKkmdMkp) with your revoked key.

They had no rights to put Star Valor in any bundle, so they sold it illegally. Those Keys got revoked for fraud (and yes, I revoked them).
I'm not selling the game there anymore btw. And they didn't pay me anything as it wouldn't even reach the 100$ minimum with such a low price.

Anyway, let me know if you want the game and I'll give you the discount.
Best are steam and gog! And if gog is not available then steam it is.

Humble Store and Nexus.gg are pretty safe as well. But yeah, Steam is 100%
If it was a reputable store, it would have immediately compensated you for this error. I definitely won't be supporting them in the future. Thank you Laious for a fantastic and fun game. You give indie games a GOOD name.

Yeah it's pretty funny when people do not like feeling robbed, nobody should ever be angry about that, right?
Of course you're upset at feeling robbed but you're blaming the wrong person here. The dev didn't rob you, DIG did by selling you something they didn't legally have the right to.

If someone sold you a used cellphone and it later turned out to be stolen and the actual owner showed up to claim it, would you blame them for "robbing" you, or the person who actually sold it to you?

100% Agree. Imagine buying stolen goods and complaining to the victim they were stolen from, rather than the thief...

Awesome game. Well worth full price to me.
