Otherwise, the ship is great if you use it yourself.
Especially great when you start with the Karma Perk, where you can not buy equipment and ships.
There's a low chance every time you scavenge of gaining a charge. Each one grants crew efficiency.
You can ALSO, going to the ship enhancements tab of Crafting, spend charges (which you'll then have to run around and recover) to buy enhancements without paying in materials (like those refined and ardonian components).
From the few ships I designed myself (again, using modular assets), it's my favorite.
Thank you, will do! ;)
It isn't a bad fleet ship actually, infact for what i'm using it for, weaponspace is a wastespace, and she is better served not having weapons equipped at all, since that will decloak her. Infact she is perfect for a drone fleet ship. having 4 free enhancement slots with the drone enhancements and multiple attack/repair drone bays make her an amazing fleet ship.
Just checked my dragonfly and realized that I had ultimately equipped it with a weapon. Without a weapon equipped, they do not engage in combat, even sending drones out. They can still be used as a repair boat though, since you can beef them up for drone repairing rather smoothly. It used to be that repair drones were not used by fleet ships to repair others, but it seems that that was changed so now they do.
Their weapon slotting is indeed weird for a general combat ship, but I never pictured them for that anyway. They are still handy to be able to be cloaked in fields to avoid being a focal point of attack.
Even without considering the Mind-Boggling Option of Launching SIX Torpedoes at once-
But, even with just the Regular 4 Weapons it's a Great Attack Ship-
As I'm at Level 14 and building up to the Weapon Increase, I'm still shredding every enemy
I come across- I'm doing just 2 Red Rapid Lasers on the Front, and another 1 on the Rear
with a Good Gunner- With the Triple Barrels on all 3 Guns, you can do a Heavy Rate of Fire
with a Regular Laser, with Rapid Lasers, you get an Extra Fast, Never Ending Fire Rate as
Long as you want- I've also Used the Ranger Camouflage to Time and Ambush quite a few
Pirate Ships- a very nice feature, mostly Defensive and Hide, but Ambush Options as well
This is an interesting use also for the Dragonfly- It stays Camouflaged and sends out
Attack Drones instead, with of course, the extra 2 Drones it gets
Although it seems somewhat of a Lesser Use for the Dragonfly, with how Brutal and Lethal
an Assault Ship it can be, This shows again all the different setups, tactics, and flexible ways
you can do with Star Valor as a Game in General
