And split screen is known to tank FPS in Warriors games since PS2 era.
Also you should mention our CPU and RAM.
RECOMMENDED:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Win 7/8.1/10(64bit required)
Processor: Core i7 3770 or over
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or over
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 20 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 11 or over
Additional Notes: 1920×1080 pixel, True Color
He should be able to get 60fps.
I got i7 3770K, GTX 970 and 16GB ram, and on max settings it's only 14 fps, while at minimum it's 34, wtf optimization is even that, on consoles it probably works much better, especially on PRO (own it), don't wanna buy it on console to test it.
All previous Koei games have been flawless 60fps before on PC.
Even damn Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey works better than this and that's pretty much on maxed settings, besides shadows.
Also disable fog, it tanks FPS even on better cards.
Some peeps say that they can run it buttersmooth 60fps, and ask even for fps unlock.
So there clearly is something wrong with optimization for my hardware, as there is no game ready driver for this game.
GTX 1060 6gb
i7- 2600 CPU 3.40GHZ
8GB ram
Yeah, I know, those aren't high end spec, but if I could run DW9, Monster Hunter World and Nioh on High setting with stable 50 - 60 fps, I don't see why I can't run this game even with all setting on low.
i7 6700k @4,6
16 gb ram
AMD R9 390 Nitro 8gb
The problem is the very low CPU utilization, the continuous spikes of the GPU and at least on AMD, the locked v-sync.
Processor: Intel i7-8700K 4.6 Ghz
Graphic Card: Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core 11GB GDD5RX
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370F Gaming
RAM: Vengeance® LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C16 -White
Cooler: Noctua NH - D14
SSD: WD CSSD BLUE 3D NAND 500GB M.2
HDD: WD Black 1TB
Monitor: Acer ED242QR 24" Freesync
Casing: Fractal Design Define C Tempered Glass, Black
PSU: Seasonic M12II EVO Series 750W
I'm getting the feel the games problem is CPU, that they underestimated their games performance needs.
I'm gonna get my new specs anyways next day hopefully, then I can test out my 8700K and a new mobo and ram.
Those are too above the recommended specs. Guess we will need to wait for a patch to fix it.
My pc spec:
I5 3570k
16gb ram
gtx 1060 6gb
Maxed out setting 1080p 40-60 fps tho.
Anyways the game is a high cpu hog, when the game is active the fps drops to 14 fps on max settings or 34 on minimum, but when I open the pause menu, the game jumps to 60fps.
So it must be all the npc/ai that cause the huge fps drop.
So yeah i7 3770K 3.9GHz isn't enough for this game. In terms of min specs and 30+fps yeah it would be ok. But rec specs nope. Assassin's Creed Odyssey runs better than this.
Game just came out, updates will be due in a few weeks so you might have to bear with it in the meantime.
The game just runs bad at the moment on i7 3770K with GTX 970 G1.
Also stop suggesting it when the game doesn't have game ready drivers to begin with.
Mind that I was the one that gave peeps in Monster Hunter World a way to use newer drivers without fps drops and stutters, without having to downgrade drivers which is by the way useless, because I can just manually disable the entire damn profile for the game and/or make backups of it giving me the same result as downgrading drivers.
If downgrading the driver helps a game, then you can just use the newest driver and tweak the settings with nivida inspector and you can save it and make a backup of it. And allows you to enjoy all the new fps boosts for various other games without having to resort to gimping yourself because of one game.
I tried run it with my current driver, which was one from 4 months ago, so I tried updating it to the most recent one, but there was no difference. All setting on low the game can't even maintain 30fps.
