What dlc to buy?

I was looking at the sacred treasure pack and possibly the scenario pack but not sure if these are worth the money, plz no spoilers but so far i feel like i have seen a few of the sacred treasures already in use that were listed on the store page.. are they only cosmetic changes? I want more magic abilities :D

The sacred treasures gives you more magic abillities, they aren't just cosmetic changes.

Scenarios adds more stages to the game

Challenge mode is good too since you get very good fusion abillities.

So why does it look like some of the treasures are already in the game like the 3 headed one?

They're recolored but they do not have the same magic attacks.

So are they unique enough to warrant the high cost and will characters use them or do i have to manually choose them? It's been my fave thing so far finding characters that use these different kinds and i don't think it's fair to swap them as i would just end up picking the strongest ones

You have to manually chose the DLC sacred treasures, they do not belong to anybody. Any character can equip them. Many of the dlc sacred treasures are not OP but serve as alternate magic attacks. Up to you to if you want them, personally I would wait for a sale, since you are able to swap between the base sacred treasures.

But alot of the content on the season pass i don't care for, such as BGM or costumes.. so no that is not 'all' i need. That would be a waste of money

I only use a select few of the DLC sacred treasures while the rest gather dust. Some of them are really overpowered if that's your thing, though.

The 10 extra scenarios are OK. Most of them are jokes or lowbrow stories. In one, Cai Wenji wants to learn why people smile, so she goes around ruining everyone's fun and somehow she learns things from it. In another, Daqiao wants to be learn to be a better wife, so she goes around beating up everyone who can cook and somehow she learns things from it. A couple of the scenarios are really epic fights with lots and lots of bad guys to beat up. The scenarios are all recommended for characters between levels 45 to 50, which is mid-to-late in story mode. They'll keep you entertained for a few hours.

Are some of the legendary weapons ones particular must-buy, due to being enjoyable or perhaps so OP that some particular otherwise frustrating challenges become easy?

Are any of the older costume packs particularly great, like radically different & worthwhile?
