Breast physics? Censorship?
WO4 SEEMS to have censored breast physics on the PS4 release of the game while they are completely in tact on the Switch release. Can anybody here replicate this and confirm the breast physics are working on the Steam version?

https://twitter.com/Globsch/status/1055921853968080896?s=20

^ tweet shows the PS4 version, thread above it shows Switch version including breast motion

UPDATE: This appears to be tied to the framerate. Limiting the FPS to 30 is said to enable the breast physics in the menu.

Basically, if you cap the framerate to 30 then you get DOA mode with a horrible framerate, or you can play the game at a nice 60fps but not have insane bouncing boobs.

Huh?
I don't see any physics at all in the PS4 clip... They're non-existent.
I just find the notion that this is a glitch to be quite absurd tbh.
In the Switch clip they look very realistic, and in the PS4 clip they're non-existent. That doesn't look nor sound like a glitch to me at all...
How could there be THIS big of a difference?

It's not even '' DoA '' physics, that's how breasts move.
People really tend to SEVERELY underestimate how much breasts move <.<, it's not at '' OMG mode '' levels just because they exist altogether. In the '' OMG mode '' for DoA they quite literally float around in no gravity.
In the PS4 clip they just look like they're plastic dolls used to show off clothes in stores or something whilst in the Switch version they look like actual human beings made of flesh.

PS4 version runs at 60FPS (no boobs physics)
Switch version runs at 30FPS (boobs physics)
PC at 60FPS (no boobs physics)
PC at 30FPS (boobs physics)

sounds like a bug, but pretty stupid one, dunno how that passed QA

Physics get messed up all the time when it comes to increased framerates

Remember the tank physics problem with Valkyria Chronicles 1 PC when the game was playing above 60fps?

Or the increase jiggle physics in Valkyrie Drive PC when it was upgraded to 60fps from the 30fps Vita version?

It's entirely plausible

I can confirm setting the game to 30FPS gives me the physics as well. Definitely an overlooked bug.

I was just going to ask about this because I was considering to buy this game at some point and saw this:

So, no physics anywhere with 60 FPS or no physics in character selection with 60 FPS or is Xbox gameplay and character viewer 30 FPS?

Boy don't some of you guys look silly now.

And KT for letting this pass QA, really guys?
VB Driver Oct 27, 2018 @ 8:43am
Given Soynys recent leftist puritanist history, no wonder people blame censorship.
Devs shoud patch this so 60 FPS PC have physics too (and ideally XOne and PS4 versions).

I got you! I wonder if there is a way to get the jiggle physics at 60fps

If this is a bug then its a complete screw up on their end, and a major one at that, If it was me some QA heads would roll, with a game this mainlined especially with the overly "plot" heavy women this would be one of the things that KT should have paid special attention to given their history with DOA, hopefully its something they can fix or we can fix but either way it shouldn't have been overlooked.

you guys are so optimistic .. i personally think that it's not a bug.

It's not a bug, the game's engine is tied to its fps. That is not something uncommon in the industry at all, there have been plenty of instances of games losing their "binding" when played at a higher or lower fps than intended throughout the years.

I can confirm there are breast jiggles at 30fps and none at 60fps.

The Switch version runs at 30fps, has jiggles.
The PS4 version runs at 60fps, has no jiggles.
The PC version allows you to choose 30fps or 60fps, one with jiggles and one without.

This isn't rocket science. You people need to get your heads out of your asses and use your minds for once.

"Plenty" of instances, name 5 that were tied with the games physics engine and the FPS, I know of a few, not plenty, furthermore there were simple fixes for said issues, and it isn't something that the devs themselves couldn't have fixed, speaking from experience any kind of QA thats done is done so in a multitude of configs and environments, a game that pushes so much fan service as a selling point should have seen this issue and chose to ignore it, so in other words its not a bug but the incompetence of either the developers or QA.

If its a bug i expect a fix. So back to KT again, when will this issue be fixed? If you say it won't be, thats fine, but its going to be called out as removed content in any version but the switch.

I dont know what you guys are talking about but mine runs at 60 FPS and I can clearly see Naotora II boobs jiggle during her musou or unique magic. I try some of the other females they all have them. Except for Athena damn Koei thinking that big busty blonde women have plastic boobs.

Check during the menu when they are jumping if they bounce. Check the tweet I linked in OP and if you go above the video linked there is another video to the switch version that has a lot of bounce other version don't seem to have

Look this is not new to KT, the first Toukiden was notorious for tying its ENTIRE GAME to 30 fps. Trying to get 60 fps by editing ini makes the whole thing unplayable. They fixed it in Toukiden 2 but don't expect something minor as this to be fixed for WO4 when the ENTIRE GAME worth of BS was not fixed by KT until the sequel.

And yes I just said "minor" because this is as minor an issue as you can get. Game crashing? Major. Damage/animation problem during attacks? Major. Characters missing moves even after unlocking them? Major. Breast physics not as much as when at 30 fps? Minor.

Christ, some of you people I swear to God are just looking for things to be angry at now. I thought I had seen enough BS in the Odyssey board and could get away from it here, but I was too naive
