Carnage TV Achivement /pls send help/

I'm at a loss here and I need help. Most other achievements for this game are pretty straightforward and simple but this one is just driving me to the edge. I ran secret Cloning Lab level multiple times with different weapons trying different tactics but I just can't get carnage multiplier beyond 6. It there a special method for killing human enemies or a different ship setup? How much humans does it even take to reach "Total Carnage"?

good weapon is flamethrower for its piercing
and gems should be muon time ring for extra range
and the aim enhancer so you can aim anywhere on the screen at any time

the problem is: humans end before screen can load more and multiplier drops. and if i try to kill them slower multiplier also drops. ♥♥♥♥ this achievement. beating the game on hardcore was much easier than this

just try to kill them slowly but not too slowly
you'll get it eventually
