next to none. I doubt you will even get a playable experience on it

likely to be playable on Deck, since the game has a nintendo switch version

Wow those first two posts are on extreme ends…

It really depends on how much of a budget Bamco is giving this. It’s definitely not going to be fully unplayable (all of Bamco’s games in the past decade are playable on deck to some degree) and I have no clue why Zune is pulling that out of his ass. However, if the game gets Digimon Survive levels of budget, then it will probably run with some glitche/ initially. If it gets the xenoverse treatment then it will probably run perfectly from launch.

The game has a Switch version, seriously doubt the Steam Deck can't run this.

That’s what I was thinking too, I appreciate you’re actual reply. I’ve been loving the Deck so far and would rather have it on it than my Switch. Thanks guys.

One way to find out by actually trying it on the Steam Deck when it comes out. I'm sure once it releases people will come flooding in noting their experiences. They stay silent at first to then try to claim their glory after upon release by posting in a hasteful manner as possible about it working or not.

Wait for when the game releases to then see what the experiences are like, or somehow contact the developer.

On a side-note: We need more people to yell at Valve to fix this annoying issue. Get them to release a firmware update.

We'll just throw versions of Proton at it until we get something. The only real concern will be if videos work or not, as Japanese game video files tend to be all over the place with Proton.

The statement that it's not going to be playable on Steam Deck is merely an assumption.
When the game is out people will try it and then we'll know.

It has nothing to do with that and everything to do with the fact that it’s a Japanese publisher/developer who is known for not properly playtesting PC ports.

Bad optimization or coding can result with a game having issues on PC despite running well on weaker hardware. This is what happened with Elden Ring, for example.

Most Japanese Developers do not see Steam Deck as a System that will help sell games right now, so dont expect them to put any work into it. Now the Community will likely find a way to at lest get it playable, but I doubt Bandai will bother. Until Steam Deck is widely used enough to be a large factor in how games are sold dont count on many Japanese Companies to put any effort into it.
