Half sensitivity on new mouse
I have bought a new mouse with which i should get roughly a 360° Turn, but only get 180° when i use my complete mousepad, only in Kovaaks Aim Trainer, everywhere else i get the correct rotation.

I had the shark force before with 1000dpi and now bought a new shark force pro, which should have 1200 dpi. I confirmed the sensitivty with a dpi-calculator from an external homepage. I tested the mouse in Quake champions and overwatch. I also tested the different DPI settings on the mouse. In Kovaak's FPS Aim Trainer i usually should do a 360° Turn with my mouse settings over the mousepad length, but with the new mouse i only get roughly 180°. Everywhere except kovaaks Aim Trainer both mice are close to each other (only 200dpi difference). There are only windows drivers and no extra software to configure the mouse. How can i repair this?
I also tried different Sensitivty calculations (quake/source, overwatch) and different fovs.

(when i connect both mice and move them the same distance, i can see this problem. When i just cloase Kovaaks and start quake champions both rotate the correct amount, maybe 60° difference)

That's off-putting. Can you post a screenshot of your Main settings?

This is really weird. What is your Windows sensitivity slider set to?

tested it again today after a cold reboot, measured dpi on webpage displays correct 1200. 360° Turn in quake champions, shorter turn in Kovaaks Aim Trainer with new mouse. Old mouse rotates exactly the same degrees in both programms.

Windows slider tested at 6, 4 and 8, doesn't seem to affect anything in-game, only windows becomes unusable.

Also tried slow and fast movement with cloth and hard mousepads, no change
also tried different graphic settings to reduce system load (also Fullscreen vs Window), no change
Also tried a third mouse MS-Tech SM-X40 with 1850dpi, rotated something like 570°, so everything correct with this one.
Also tested different USB Ports.
Also tried to uninstall and reinstall drivers
Also repaired Kovaak's Aim Trainer files through steam

Im really confused that this is even possible, that a specific program behaves strange with a specific mouse. If the mouse is broken i would just send it back, but it works everywhere else.

Hardware: Laptop, I7-3610QM, Nvidia GT 650m, 8gb Ram, SSD, 1920*1080@60Hz
Im on Windows 7 x64 Professional, all updates

Main Setting in Kovaaks Aim Trainer are this:

But i also tried with sensitivity scale set to Overwatch and sens to 4.23

Both the old mouse (Sharkforce) and sm-X40 have a polling rate of 125, while the new mouse (Sharkforce Pro) has a polling rate close to 1000 (measured between 920 and 960), energy saving for usb is disabled.

Today i connected a logitech g502 and tested with same DPI and different polling rates. I measured the polling rates while kovaaks aim trainer was running.

On 125Hz pollingrate, i measure 110Hz on the webpage. With 1050dpi and 1.45 sens quake/source i need roughly 27cm for 360° - it should be calculated 27.3 but i cant measure that precise

On 250Hz pollingrate, i measure 160Hz on the webpage. with same dpi and sense i still need 27cm for 360°

On 500Hz pollingrate, i measure 240Hz on the webpage. with same dpi and sense i need now 38cm for 360° (my mousepad is only 35cm so i cant measure precise)

On 1000Hz Pollingrate, i measure 350Hz on the webpage, with same dpi and sense i need far more space than i have on my table for one turn.

As soon as i turn of kovaaks aim rainer i get the following measured polling rates:
setting 1000Hz, measured 920Hz
setting 500Hz, measured 480Hz
setting 250Hz, measured 240Hz
setting 125Hz, measured 1150 Hz

On the human benchmark reaction time test i get:
same mouse desktop computer: 180ms
same mouse problem laptop: 200ms
same mouse on laptop with kovaaks in background: still 200ms
So my laptop has already higher input lag than my desktop computer anyway.

I dont see any more CPU usage or Heat in my system when i change the polling rates.

So i guess its a problem that my laptop is just too old for this engine?
I get the same effect with deep rock galactic which also runs Unreal Engine
The polling rates behave correctly with Quake Champions / Overwatch

Its a little bit sad for me since i wanted to train while away from my desk and cant with the correct polling rates, so if anyone knows a setting or different driver i can use it would be much appreciated. I will try to find a fix for polling rates in Unrealengine, lets see if something comes up.

This is well beyond my depth. I'm thinking there's something off with how Windows is parsing your input devices, maybe an extra driver layer is somehow being applied? I have no idea where even to start with this. I've put in a word to our engineering overlords to see if they have any input.
