Hello.
I do not understand why there are no acceleration settings in the aim training program. it's just nonsense.
if someone thinks that the Pro do not use acceleration, I'll give an example: Clawz, the champion of QuakeCon 2017 uses acceleration: mouseAccel 0.17, mouseSensCap 5.0 . He showed it on his stream more than once.
I would be glad to use this Trainer, but due to lack of these features I prefer maps for training in QuakeLive.

mouseSensCap

Yeah, what Owl linked. Basically, unless I re-wrote parts of the engine code, I would only get mouse updates per frame and it would result in inconsistent mouse acceleration if your framerate deviated. So I generally recommend using the driver instead of any game's implementation unless you are prevented from using the driver due to competing in tournaments or something.

but is not it better to do as in quake: the quake ignores the settings of windows, in the quake you configure the sens,accel.
then I start fps aim trainer, go to the settings, select "quake" in the list, after which the fields appear the same as I see in Quake itself. and expose all the same. without any drivers. ?

If you have the driver installed, then the program performs the same mouse acceleration as quake with the same variables. You can use http://mouseaccel.blogspot.com/2015/12/copying-your-accel-settings-between.html to take Quake settings and use the same in the driver, then your accel curve will be identical for any game you play.

Hey Kovaak. Sorry to butt in on this dead thread, but I'm confused, and relatively new to shooters in general. I'm just trying to mimic my settings in Fortnite, and I noticed my mouse is slower in your trainer. When I went to set my sensitivities to match the .09 I have in Fortnite, I didn't really have an option. Unless it has something to do with vertical sensitivities and while I've tried to suss it out from other posts, I just don't get it. I have dps adjustment on the fly, and I know my internal mouse settings that I can change at any time. Perhaps I could just bump up the fps on my mouse to match the settings; however since I don't understand my baseline, that will be tough. Is there a doc where all of this is explained for a layman? Thanks in advance is you're able to respond.

Long story short is that Fortnite's mouse senstivitiy slider is imprecise and can't be directly used to get the same sensitivity. To complicate things for myself; I have a logitech 602 with dps on the fly, and had been flirting with changing things up, depending on the situation (ie higher speeds for building in FN) but once I got on the trainer, I quickly saw how it was actually impeading things; I wasn't building the right muscle memory bouncing around like that. Now I understand how important true precision is; this was an INVALUABLE formula. I'd found some other translations, but they weren't taking into consideration FN's inaccuracy and the calculations never felt right in the trainer. Now I know why. Thanks so much for your help.

Hello, i have successfully installed and activated the intercept mouse accel program, and it works well on windows, but how do i get kovaak's to cancel it's own accel and use the driver one?

@Yue Fe I'm not sure you have to do that; I think if your driver is given default status; it will over ride any in game settings. Otherwise it's gotta me in the settings somewhere. GL

KovaaK i installed yore raw accel but i cannot learn to use it on yore aim trainer coz i cannot even try it, there is no option for turning mouse accel on

like i literally bought kovaak to train playing on mouse accel and there is no that option
