Black screen after loading game

after I press enter at the main title screen my monitor goes black and the game doesnt load? anyone know how to fix? or is it just an issue with the new game?

Some users have gotten around this by deleting %localappdata%\TheMeta\temp.swp then creating a fresh account (email address verification is not necessary at the moment). Update: We’ve found an issue with how we handle certain login references in our database. We expect a fix soon.
