Do you use 103 fov overwatch or 80 fov fortnite for training fortnite aim
All is in the title.
I've read an article from a famous aimer who said that we musn't use the 80fov fortnite when playing kovaaks(except when training our ADS) because it's a third person shooter whereas kovaak is a first person shooter.
It would be great if a competent people answer to this.
Is it right or not?

Thanks

At the end of the day FOV is what you can see the
Whether It's a 3rd person shooter or a first person shooter, you'll be moving your crosshair the exact same way.
The only difference is that in Kovaak's you don't have a character model in front of you
and you don't have to care about the real line of sights (I don't even know if you have to care about those in Fortnite)

I also don't believe that FOV matters all that much for aim training.
To begin with the amount of movement required is the same, just go with something that fits the scenarios you are doing.

If you wanted to, 103 ow is pretty standard. There is a case to be made for different fov profiles for distance.
103 hfov 16:9
105.45 hfov 16:9
110 hfov 16:9

Those are for instance what I use. But I mainly stick with the middle for 99% of work and maybe if I am doing a particular tile frenzy, I'd switch between the others. The sens in this game doesn't have fov translation problems, so literally any fov will work.

As for the reason for multiple fovs, it depends a lot at how much you want to feel for movement or flow. The higher the fov, the higher the flow is. Apex legends is a perfect example because it's values are vfov for the settings, not hfov. But the majority of players setting it to their standard values make the hfov something rediculous. But, this makes the game more fast pace for the feel.

I personally like a little higher than the standard 103 hfov but only run 110 hfov for games that would benefit from the increase feeling of flow.
