So, I realised I cannot base only on ingame sensitivity change + povohat as base set in stone, if I want to find a way for consistent muscle memory in all possible games.
I hoped povohat will solve the problem, but so far didn't find solution on how to use it correctly. Or I use it correctly, but it cannot be done the way I want - that's what I need to establish.
That seems really strange. Does just alt-tabbing out of the game and going back to it give you the same problems? There's just nothing special about changing the settings and saving them that would make the game interpret anything differently at all. Maybe next time it happens you can go back to the game and try something like alt+enter a few times to cycle between Windowed mode and Full Screen?
The easiest way to maintain the same curve between games is to use the same curve in the driver, then use www.mouse-sensitivity.com to convert one game's sensitivity to another. The site will be inaccurate for the cm/360 that it tells you, but the conversion between games will still be correct.
Sometimes it's just the game's UI that is limiting you, but if you find the configuration files you can change it to whatever you want. Maybe check mouse-sensitivity.com or pcgamingwiki.com?
