Report a translation problem
When comes to Moss' store. You need to progress through the tutorial some more to buy from the right side and to sell to him.

Deleted my second reply as thought on this. Seeing how these two things happen early on in the tutorial stage since the narrative update I thought you was starting a brand new save and wasn't sure and was still near the start. You have 100% progress past the part you get the shovel and such if you got the clothing store in terms of the tutorial progression.
I'm gonna ask for you to submit a quick bug report since if you've progressed to the point of unlocking the clothing store you should have of course these things unlocked by now.

Make sure to attach both save file (would be a folder call something like 01) that the bug happened on and the player log (a text file called player). Remember to compress to zip the save file (the whole folder) so it can be attached to the bug report :)
To find those this is how I've said to do so to others and have worked in the past:
Run these two commands to access your player log and save file.
Press the windows key + R then input & run:
Save folders location : %AppData%/Wonderscope/Hokko Life/SaveData
Player log file location : %UserProfile%/AppData/LocalLow/Wonderscope/Hokko Life
When doing the bug report PLEASE add details as much as possible. Was your save made before or after the narrative update? Were you ever able to sell or buy from Moss' store in this save at all or has it NEVER unlocked at all? If your save is after the narrative update did you do the tutorial quests to your knowledge? Please add that you have checked and looked for the shovel crafting recipe in your backpack list of learnt recipes and the crafting bench to double check if was unlocked or not. Did any chance did your money hit 0 and you've never gotten any money back to raise it at all? The money question can be important in-case you have suffered a bug before the a patch went live to stop it happening again (sadly those affects may need to have their saves fixed by hand by Robert the developer)
^Details small and big can be super helpful these are just some basic questions that the answers could be useful in the bug report details.
When it asks for a discord ID at the bottom only attach your discord ID if you are part of the Official Hokko Life discord because that is the place we try to contact you.

If you wanted to play in the meantime the only suggestion I can offer at this moment in time is to got to the main menu and use the save slot choice and pick to to start a new save, this means you have two games and you can swap between them while we are looking into the bug of your main/older save.
Once the bug report is submitted Pennox the community's Hokko Owl as we like to call him, will do some checks on your files to see if he can see the issues within the save and if normal quick fixes can work then pass the file onto the solo developer of the game Robert who will then get to the bug report when he next is able.
Will try keeping you as updated as possible but it can take time to go through all bug reports and such for Robert so can be a small wait which is why I made the suggestion about a second save.
Unless a bug report is submitted in the link, with the files attached and a way to know who you are aka putting "mtalley87 - Steam Discussions" (if don't have discord or part of the server) we won't be able to help right away, so do consider and please do the bug report so we can have a look at the issue and help fix it when able!

Sorry such a long message my lord! If you have issues submitting the bug report please let me know as the site has been a little fussy by saying "whoops something went wrong" as I do have a possible fix if that error occurs
-If you wanted to be safer to try the fix first to get this over with make sure to right click your files your are attaching to the bug report, the save folder, the player text file, if you attach screenshots or videos (only if you wanted to do so but a video showing you can't buy to sell could be nice for Robert and Pennox) and compress to zip each file separately then attach them to the forms. You are needed to do this to the save file for it to be sent anyways but compressing to zip all files is how people have got passed the current error!
