Can't Save or Load Game

Hey, for some reason when I choose the save option It just gives me a grey box with no means of closing it. While I don't know if there is an auto save I closed the game figuring maybe I could load or start a new game. Well When I open up the load option I get the same grey box with no means to exit out of it. I tried validating the game files and it said all was well. Is there any solutions to resolve this?

Alright I've uploaded a screen shot. I've also just uninstalled and reinstalled the game and am still getting this.
