Keeping an idol forever?

I was wondering if anyone has managed to keep an idol on forever/continually pushed her graduation back?

I'm planning to try and keep one of my aces to stay for as long as possible. I pretty much always have her as one of the pushed idols to keep her influence high. She's only just started asking to graduate so I'm just wondering how long I can realistically get her to stay.

Alternately, out of curiosity, how old was your oldest idol to graduate?

I can confirm that you can push back at least three times. The graduation time seems to be 26 years old. But the amount of influence seems to change from idol to idol. My guess is that the better the idol is the more influence you need. Not sure if is the rarity or the stats. A Bronze a fraction of a level of influence, but a Gold around 2.5 level. I don't remember if the amount of influence change each time you push back, but I think it may do it, so I don't think that we can't keep them around for ever. But this just a conjecture.

I had a Idol with me from Start till I beat the game and she never once asked to leave. I almost thought it was a bug. I did have her center allot of singles tho. I feel that people that center stay longer

If you reallyyyy want to keep your idol forever and you don't mind cheating you can save file edit that stat.

Go to C:\Users\[Insert computer username here]\AppData\LocalLow\Glitch Pitch\Idol Manager\data\story_mode for the save file.

Edit "peakAge" and "Graduation_Date"

Dont realy have to worry about it because it takes average of like 7-10+ years for an idol to start talking about graduation. You really should have completed campaign within this time.

Well my oldest idol is actually the first one I ever hire. Plan to graduate at 28 but postponed it till 30. I think Idol usually graduate at around 26-28 except for some rare case where they graduate 1-2 year after they start even tho they're still 16

i'm not sure how this work since recently I hired a 17yo idol who wants to graduate at 17...

This happens to many modded idols.
Default idols should all have graduation age at 28
