Crash when opening the first video mail
My game just crashes when I get to the first video part.
Any way around this? This just got me stuck and it's annoying

CTD on Phonecall after meeting Mayuri
Title, crashed twice while loading the first video file (on the phone). Playing 1920x1080 Fullscreen
StrykerL Feb 19, 2019 @ 12:35pm
After the 'I open the video file with some trepidation' + 'hmm'
Tried without fullscreen on 1920x1080 60p, still crashed after hanging
I get static noise before the crash
If I force skip, text does move forward, but then it still crashes
Help please, will be forced to ask for a refund if this isn't fixed
Running a 970m + i7 4710HQ

I'm having the exact same issue. CTD after opening the first video email.
My specs are less than optimal, so I thought maybe that was my issue. Looking at yours, maybe it's something internal causing the crash.
Also getting crash at same exact point and considering a refund. Needs patch urgently. I also tried in windowed 720p but it persists. Can't progress any farther.

I have sent an email in through the support section on steam, at their official support email. Hopefully they can find the issue soon. Would hate to refund and miss out on the sale if I have to purchase at a later point.

I had the same issue. You just need to run the game with you Nvidia (for me, idk if you have an another) instead or intel graphic.

But what do you exactly mean by running with my GPU?

Sorry i'm not good in English

I found this for you:
"Force the use of an AMD graphics card
- First, open the Radeon Settings. A simple way to do this is to right-click on a free space on your desktop and choose Radeon Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Then go to Preferences> Additional Settings> Power> Switchable graphic application settings
- Select the game from the application list. If the application is not in the list, click on the button Add an application and select the * exe file of your game from the installation path of the game. This will add the game to the list and you can from now on choose it .
- In the Graphics Settings column, assign the High Performance profile to your game

Finally, save your changes. Your game should now start with your dedicated AMD graphics card."
