Will there likely be a fan created mod to restore censored content?

I'm no expert but surely something can be done unoficially to uncensor the game right? If so everyone who is upset should just hold their dollars until that happens. At least then it sends a message that consumers are not interested in censored products. I'm usually not one for boycotting but I also don't want censored games either. Hopefully there can be some middle ground where both sides can get what they want.

Even if there is, the affected scenes are very likely to be untranslated.
Vote with your wallet, there's literally nothing else we can do since the publisher ignored all comments about censorship during one of their streams.
There's no middle ground to be had with censorship, modding will just give an excuse to devs and publishers to censor even more.

Well I feel like waiting and not paying full price on release can at least send some sort of message. Also, I don't think it would be difficult for fans to translate the text along with the restoration mod. Might take longer but it's do able.

You still need people who care enough to mess with the code to insert whatever was removed and translate the whole thing.
Modding is cool, yeah, but you actually need a community behind a game if you want it to have mods in the first place.
Which is not the case for this game, there's only negative hype about it.

Even if, the problem is - you'll be buying (and supporting) censored version, so idiotic western publishers will never learn how dumb they are unless they won't see huge loss in sales. It's the same like dub only releases. They try to appeal reset-era type of users. And the funniest thing about it is that they won't buy it anyway.

Yeah, I think a mod is likely, especially since the Steam release will allow to get the Japanese version's files. After that, it will likely be a matter of editing some scripts and translating extra stuff (if necessary at all; sometimes translators translate even unused lines) to restore themissing content. Not that it should be okay to have to mod the Western release...

Regardless i will buy but not on full price just as collection, or they can port on switch without censorship, that sounds better to me
