Close region map?

So the tutorial mission takes you to the Region map to open a trade route and explain a couple things, and then tells you to close the region map, and I can't. The only way I've found to close the map is to end the tutorial, which re-enables the region map button. But I don't wanna skip the tutorial.

I just had the same issue, but I believe that is the end of the tutorial anyway

i am having the same problem of not being able to close the region map - this then stops the whole tutorial and the only way out is to quit. Can anyone provide an answer please.

At this point, close the tutorial and try to accomplish the mission goals, which are Gather 600 Pottery and Export 500 Bricks. Check your stockpile and set it so you're gathering pottery, change it so its green, and export is red. Then make sure you're exporting Bricks as shown in the tutorial. Could take a bit, don't be afraid to build more claypits, brickmakers and potters, and more houses. I only built about 2 extra farms, and 8 extra houses. Once you accomplish the goals you'll progress to Mission 2
