Agreed.
So sad....
I remember you from some ugly posts. No wonder you were warned by developers....
I know eien no shikaku from other game and he is very honest and passionate person. Always delivers on time so in this particular game you should thank lead-developer Jacek for any delays because everything that was managed by eien no shikaku personally were throughly tested and delivered on time. I guess joining this project was a big mistake on eien no shikaku part....
I guess it's related to PlayWay, as far I know this project started as a small studio with one developer, then it grew and since it had a lot of wishlisters and a promising outlook, it got attention. Some publisher like PlayWay sees a profit and offers sponsorship. For small studios this could be a win-win situation; developers can put a full focus on the developing/programming while the publisher looks after promotion and cash-flow during the time there are no sales (yet).
The only issue with that deal is that you no longer have all strings in your hand. PlayWay does not want to bring joy to the people, PlayWay wants to make a profit. They set a deadline and it it is not reached they can pull the plug and cut their losses. You can probably negotiate an extension if you have a promising strategy when the money will eventually come in but I can't imaging that developers who constantly delay a release on short notice and PlayWay is a good match. And then you can no longer opt out. Sign up with PlayWay and you sign your soul away. Such a deal likely means you no longer have the copyrights to your own game and PlayWay dictates the rules. So if that deal breaks it breaks your project.
BTW, beta testing and playtests were awfully limited. Maybe they'll change their approach.
Great, at least one dumbass less
What's with the insults? Did I insult you? No. So why do you feel the need to insult me? You are what's wrong with this toxic community. I suggest you think before you post
