I spent lots of money on something and I am smart, I would never spend money badly, so of course what I bought is better than others.
See; console vs PC, Apple v android, Sega v Nintendo, etc etc.

That 'this is better than that' discussion is totally pointless, because it's almost like apples oranges. Some like the ease of a console, others want more options (like mods in skyrim).
I've both won and missed out on not having a console. In one hand I've spent far less, even taking into account the cost of a build. I very rarely buy games when they come out and very good offers.
In the other hand I've never completed the halo storyline - because it was console only.
Not only that but more systems a lot of which failed and flopped all together.
