First of all, it's pathetic to misquote someone. Secondly, come the day that you ever play an actual, completed, quality game, you'll hang yourself in shame for ever suggesting this one meets those standards.
As a Warhammer game, this one rates slightly above Eternal Crusade, and below everything else.
Thats pretty dam ♥♥♥♥.
Its still a completed game and for a decent amount of folks is quite good when it comes to a Space Hulk adaptation in first person. Definitely could of used more content but there is replay value and the multiplayer is pretty solid, especially with friends.
I mean if you dislike the game enough to say that why are you bothering to post? Or be here?
As the guy above said, why even hang out here if you think so lowly of this game? Nothing better to do than spread misinformation?
The fact that this game has the capacity for some enjoyable moments does not change the fact it is mediocre at best. Solid art design, but everything else is cookie-cutter, paint-by-number game design.
The OP asked if more content was coming. That answer is a big NO. My initial response would've been the end of my participation in this thread had you not decided to deliberately act like a child and misquote me.
Block him. Just block him. Block him and anyone else like him. I haven't had any interaction with him and now thankfully I never will. I read one post by him and that was enough. It would be one thing if the developers had promised something in black and white, such as couch coop or a pink pony and failed to deliver on said item. But they didn't. They delivered on what they promised and they delivered in spades. Its simply subjective so arguing with these people is a waste of time.
Remember, these are persons that could not decide in 2 hours of gaming if a title would be worth the purchase price, so believing in the possibility of a sound reasonable debate is not only laughable, its heresy.
I am rather reminded of the Grinch, sitting on his mountain unable to tolerate people enjoying something in which he did not believe. And we all know who turned out to be right in that tale.
So just block them.
For the most part these individuals are not 40k fans. Just persons taking a break between their dudebro shooters and saw some shiny object and bought it. The material? Over their head like a fast New York pigeon.
I was playing 40K tabletop in 1995. I have my own army from the DA Codex. I first started playing 40k video games with the original Space Hulk, and the list includes Final Liberation, Chaos Gate, Rites of War, all of DoW 1, DoW 2, etc.
You have the capacity to apparently understand that opinions on the game are subjective, yet you lack the maturity to respond without taking personal offense that I don't think the game came straight out of the Emperor's backside and should therefore be revered as a holy relic.
People will get some entertainment value out of this game if they really, really want to be a Terminator and kill 'nids. The art is fantastic.
The overall game is still mediocre, and you shouldn't take such personal offense with that sentiment unless your entire self-worth is based on this game.
