Test in Steam the Config Settings for Controller.
Its possible to use a PS4 Controller with a Xbox or Steam Driver and pretty easy to change it or deactivate the Gyros and more on Controller.
You need to start Steam in Bic Picture Mode and go to Settings Controller
1. While you are in the game press Tab + Shift to bring up the Steam Overlay.
2. Then click "Controller Configuration" on the top right.
3. A window will pop up displaying the PS4 controller, use the left analog stick to select/highlight the gryo menu. It looks like a blue atom symbol and is in the middle of the controller and right above the PS Button. You might have to move the left stick around that area to get it to display if it was not already displayed.
4. My controller's gyro function's "Style of Input" was set to "Mouse Joystick", change it to "None".
5. Press Tab + Alt to close the Steam Overlay, and hopefully you won't have gyro camera controls anymore in the game.
Let me know if you have any questions in case I explained something poorly.
Thanks for the response... your reply letting me know you didn't have this problem motivated me to try again for a solution.
PS4 Controller
Step:
1. Launch Game, Shift Tab to get to Controller Config for this game specifically
2. Under the Playstation Button/The Center Button. Is Gyro.
3. Clicking this should be set to Mouse Joystick for some reason.
4. Set to None. Got rid of the heavy shaking and makes using the map way easier.
But i find the Gyro very nice and helpfull when its only get avtivated when you press your Aim Bottum or a different Bottum that you want.
So its got only Active when you want it.
