Reliability
Extended magazine
Whatever optics you are comfortable with, personally prefere infrared
And if you go as Tactical or the Apothecary you can add more armor pen with perks.
I dont remember but the Librarian may also have more armor pen as a perk choice, i just dont use it on Lib my self.
1. Extended Magazine
2. +Damage muzzle device
3. Optics (I recommend Bio-Scanner)
4. Reliability if you have more Renown than you know what to do with
Tactical and Apoth both have perks that increase AP by 20 pts, although Tac's Perk has the added bonus of much faster Power Fist attack speed. Librarian's "Precognition" perk increases Stormbolter AP by 10 pts, which is rather anemic by comparison; there are more practical perk options for the Librarian so this one is generally overlooked.
Librarian + SB MK1 + damage barrel --> i like to play him as snipe-y
Tac + SB MK2 + damage + Tac perk for extra damage/AP --> is something in punching range? punch it. Is something right outside of punching range? shoot it. Is something further away? don't waste ammo; you're too inaccurate to matter.
This is just not true. Uncountable games behind me on `no mercy` where the whole team gear up with SBs. Challenging, yes. Useless, no.
