Off topic: What's up with Flamer + Biomorphs? Flamer has severe difficulties killing a Biomorph.
If only Bolter were better or Nahum knew how to shoot Biomorphs properly.
But I'm playing mostly 1UP No Mercy Specials with Bros Barry & Num. And the suped up Twin Bolter with the upgraded Crozius / Lost Mace (Chaplain / any other Class), is pretty effective.
Bro Barry ALWAYS (And I mean), ALWAYS !!! Gets the Thunder hammer. His skill with ranged is just awful. A problem that's existed since DWs first release, which SoS have yet to sort out. Not so bad in the SP Campaign on low diffs. But you've got no other choice with the Special Missions. Bro Barry with the Hammer makes for an near impregnable rear guard. As well as being able to forge a way forward through the thickest swarms. If on the campaign you'll need to unlock the hammer skill. But the Lightening Claws are reasonable enough. Just not as tanky as the hammer & shield.
I see you haven't mentioned Brother Nahum. How come? ;)
Yeah, I'd dislike playing No Mercy too. Biomorphs are very irritating(they yell from half a map away and then get stuck on a barrel or something yelling like an idiot, but then he knows to just appear and charge you while yelling at the moment of contact! Instant one shot!) and Psykers too(something has killed you lol).
Stop complaining... you have cosmetics!!! Yeeeeyy!!!
Not all I wished for and some LACK A HELM! Really, I love that White + Red armor set, but...Heavy Weapon looks very weird without a helm! And Librarian doesn't have anything like that! (don't care about Chaplain, can go rot in hell)
Also, they do attack in melee, it's just that they don't block all the time like in melee. Meaning that Biostrains get to them.
Not much to say. He just stays as a medic.
Yeah, portable medkit.
And with either a tact or a Chaplain to respawn dead medics. You got constant heals all day long. Lol, sounds so easy when you put it like that. How they managed to keep the game so tough with near infinite healing and ammo, is something else. Not many games can carry that. DW seems to have pulled it off alright though.
