Okay how do you add a map marker?

Seen some guys do it on the PS4 version on youtube, it said pretty clearly to like push X to mark the map. I've seen people put markers accidnetly but nobody knows how they are doing it lol

Push the action button on the map where you mouse is pointing. The button you use to open doors etc.

sometimes in EE, you need to mash "E" a hundred times, then exit the map, then re-enter the map to get it to appear.

It's a bug but you have to actually push the button once and the marker is where you put it even if you don't see it. Happens only during SP special missions for me and happens everytime. If you push the button and don't see the marker moving OR you don't see it at all no worries, the marker is set and to check if it's really moved just close and open the map again.
