Is still wonky, using a ps4 controller and can't even switch off the gyro thingy so any time i move my character is looking around randomly instead of it being just bound to the joysticks. Unless im missing something. Will keep on tinkering

yeah, controller system is still buggy i think. Really like this Game and its ambitios Team so i hope this will fixed on Ps4. Otherwise this will be a horrible fail for the Console start.

Having some minor issues with my Xbox one, I had to turn down the sensitivity from 30 to 10%

Oh good, I'm not the only one who thinks that this is crazy. I'm not saying that it's bad, but give us an option to turn it off, or at least turn down the sentivity on the thing!

I'm trying to play with an Xbox One Elite Controller and the button mapping is all messed up. Clicking the right stick doesn't zoom in, the circular menus don't work... No option to manually map each button in the menu, so I tried "Preset 2", and using that you can't even move...

is there any way to get a toggle sprint setup on xbox one controller through steam controlleer settings? i just cant press down the left stick all the time to sprint. it hurts like ♥♥♥♥

No idea man. Kinda shelved the game untill something more comes out for it. If at all...

If you launch the game from big picture, you can remap the buttons using steam controller configuration. The dev really messed up the config, for example they assigned the left joystick click to the right joystick (that's why you cannot zoom with default xbox controller config)

In my experience, the Steam controller configuration will remap the controller but it will not remove the hard coded mapping the game assigns.
The best idea is to use the Steam controller configuration and deactivate the mapping. This clears the game assigned mapping. Then use another mapping tool like Xpadder or ReWASD to map your controls. This seems to work good for me.

guess all changed with yesterdays patch and update. Changelog says that they finally made toggle sprint option for controllers since they changed it from shoulder to stick in the enhanced edition ;) - all good for me now :D

It's not in the patch, you must use steam controller config:

select the official config
set right joystick clik to right joystick (fixes the zoom)
set keyboard key "space" to right bumper (fixes the quick orders wheel)
set left mouse click to right trigger (as right bumper won't work anylonger in the menus, use right joystick to control the mouse and right trigger to click)

or just use my config:
steam://controllerconfig/816090/1485205002

to navigate the map with this config, once in tactical menu click right bumper then move left joytsick then move right joystick (no idea why it works)

if you want to use right bumper to sprint (and left joystick click for quick orders), just set left joystick click to right bumper and right bumper to left joystick

I use an XBO controller. You can remap XBO and PS4 controllers using the controller configuration tool embedded into Steam

afaik there wasnt an option to change sprint to toggle - could be wrong
