why not release games on steam and epic?
simple. epic loses, people would prefer to mostly purchase on steam.
epic HAS to buy games out in order to compete with steam.
there is no need for epic to do this. it hurts consumer choice.
again, epic knows steam is king and they will lose so they have to limit gamer's choices by forcing games onto their store. they aren't buying epic exclusivity, they are buying games to keep them off of steam because they can't win that battle. it's annoying to gamers.
I speak with my wallet. That's why I will NEVER purchase any game that is exclusive to epic, even after the exclusivity when it comes to steam. it's one sale, but it's my vote and I have the choice to not buy.
#onelostsale
Exclusives aren't new. At least PC gamers can still play exclusive games on other platforms. They just have to use a different launcher.
Steam fandom and loyalty will not stop this practice. Steam is going to have to step up and get it's own exclusives. Just like Nintendo, Xbox, Playstation, Ubisoft, EA, etc.
Have fun with Epic selling your information to Tencent.
but again, epic and partners NEVER wil touch a dime from me
So short-sighted..
