Edit #1
Stealth Strain Genestealers are critical hit if they hit you while invicible.
Psykers are critical hit across the board
Heavy Stubbers can rekt you real fast if your close to them
Missile launchers have a 50% of being critical
Librarian isn't the go to class as it's out performed by everyone else, But it's still a fun class none the less, When you unlock upgrades it won't make you more tankier, It will just add to your range, Except the armor upgrade but that's really only worth it on assault.
The Librarian has its place in the team in being able to one-shot any turret and lesser hybrid from long range using its lightning bolts. When facing multiple Tyranids closing in en mass you can push them back or incinerate them all with a giant fireball at close range.
In terms of weaponry, it isn’t the best out of all the classes as its main advantages are its abilities. Alone, it wouldn’t last very long but in a group it can give everyone breathing space by holding back the swarms and shorting out the turrets and lesser hybrids.
I just started with portal #1 assuming they got progressively harder.
I do have all 3 abilities for each character, I did notice that.. And yea, with the Librarian I just went for the Axe, and spammed abilities as much as possible.. I find the lightning strike to be very hit/miss.. Sometimes it seems to completely go off whereverf it wants, and hit absolutely nothing.. The inferno is pretty nice though.. I miss some o fthe campaign abilities though, they were badass!
I guess I was just wondering if were are fully buffed up for the campaign, and the perks are completely removed for these missions, which is why it felt even weaker (as if the armor didnt already feel weak enough during the campaign).. That would make sense, but then I would go nuts trying to decide wwhich single perk I wanted
Edit: I managed to find how to set difficulty (strange that you have to pause once IN the game map, and change from options), but still no way to see Codex Rules on/off.. Is this perhaps multiplayer only? Or because Im finished the campaign?
Just curious.
Or..apoth. Self heals. The one that can heal usually wins. Hellfire has range, can take out turrets decently enough, and kill most (except broodlords) decently enough.
I have also heard GREAT things about the Mace of absolution. AOE hits clears out mobs like no other. But A fully upgraded Powersword looks Unstoppable.
So to be clear, I would enjoy it, if I knew enough people to play
That said, I do want to give it a try., its does look so much more fun
But I must warn those whom enter..... Australian host here. Just saying for ping.
