The easiest way to describe Deathwing would be L4D but slower, with less maps and some slight balancing issues concerning certain enemies and weapons. On the plus side, you have more freedom in navigating the map compared to L4D, and there's a customization system. But at it's core, it's still a slow-paced horde shooter with tactical elements.
Deathwing is a good shooter and a really good tactical game
I play tac-games all my life and there's been only a few titles in which coordinated movement and cover matter that much. The game is great, just slightly short on content.
Sale price is the sweet spot.
Don`t waste your cash unless you can get it on discount.
actually, it is SPACE HULK, the boardgame, except you play from an fps viewpoint as individual marines in real time.
You can't go wrong with this game. I own it on PC and PS4 and have since day one. I still play this game all the time and can purchase anything I want. We were in it for hours agin this weekend in MP.
Absolutely agree. Space Marine is a great title.

spess muhreen is a dudebro console idiots version of 40 K. imperial guard units being like, 2 guys at a checkpoint where they're not even using cover? nor manning their bolter? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Are you located in the US? I run Deathwing at some point every week on either PS4 or PC.
Dead on. I played the tabletop and love this. In MP I often run as an Apothecary with a Hellfire. And its needed since the enemies are more aggressive and vary from what you will find in certain points in the SP. I also love the Caliban lore they sprinkled throughout on monitors and such since the Dark Angels are my favorite Chapter. Praise the Lion :)
Quit lying already
I can confirm that the multiplayer is NOT dead. The multi in this game has been some of the best I've had in any co-op shooter.
