true otaku here:
i like the games idea, not the engine it's running on. while the guy spoke so poorly that i have to believe english is not his first language, he's right that the character move sets are pretty generic, expect for the "specials" they do. (you can't think your way to victory like a Hunter x Hunter battle would, as just 1 example) it's as generic as any street fighter-like game would be
graphics aren't anything to brag about: personally my disdain is that there's not enough dynamic environment destruction when fighting to make these characters (anyone from DBZ, naruto, one piece) feel as powerful as their shows make them.
id pick it up if it were 20$, but not nearly 90.
this is simply a fandom cash grab, once you look at it objectively
For a true Otaku, ITS A DREAM to gather all Jump characters to play together in a beautiful story mode.
So it does not matter if the game costs 20 € 50 € or 100 € or that the game is bad to ♥♥♥♥ I'll buy it no matter what happens.
And we do not care about the English voice because the dub is ♥♥♥♥
you can't do better so shhhhhhht
lol ar you upset and maybe yeah i can do better what u know about my talent?
Xenoverse sucks as a fighting game, but it's the number 1 selling DBZ game series.
