2. The final roster is disappointing to a lot of people
3. The major antagonists aren't playable right now
4. A lot of people have been and still are complaining about not being able to get online
5. CaC is pretty limited, can't use a several moves and fighting style selection is subpar
7. No rematch option
That should just about cover most of the major complaints about this game
The game is just a flop, but there are people that are holding onto to the belief that it can be fixed.
Most people regret paying more then $60. Not just on steam rating. Amazon reviews, metacritic reviews, gamefaqs rating, and there more. But... I don't like explain every one of them.
Then we have other people that like it. Other people disagree them and think them as fanboy. The people like the game and see people critic/dislike their game. They think them as hater or salty people.
That being said if you are more into actual fighting games along the lines of Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter Etc, this game probably isn't for you. The story is very lacking, and the combat system is very streamlined for people that would be more average. I can say there is some kind of skill cap but not very high.
Even with that in mind the online is practically dead. I still like the game and would easily recommend to try it at least a once through if it ever comes up in a sale. The create a character is nice along with the epic visuals from ability's. It is not something you could really get into though since it's longevity is just not there.
There is plenty of missions to do in freeplay and plenty of customization options for your character, but if feels short handed when delivering what it could have been.
To sum it up
Pro's
Great Anime Feeling - Customization - Beautiful Visuals - Great Optimization - Plentiful Ability's - Easy to Pickup On
Cons
Online is Lacking - Meh Story - Combat Might be to simplified - Missions Don't have much variety - Possibly to Small of a Roster considering how big of a selection they had
