One guy actually built a module frame across the river at the fishing dock.

The water has been changed for swimming.
I found one area further up the river where you can still build a bridge using the framework.
It makes me wonder, is there anything you actually find/interact with at the bottom of riverbeds? Because being able to dive is kinda pointless if you can't spearfish and when there's nothing down there.
Maybe Creepy Jaw has plans for a raft? There is one in the Build a Raft Challenge.
So it's just kinda useless then?
That's a shame. Hopefully hopefully hopefully the devs at least add some functionality and point to diving. Fishing and caimans are a real nice addition but there's really no point to diving as it is.
Its been restored and the water has a shallow section again near the large Rock boulder in the center just up from the dock building.
