Mysterious Poison?
This has happened to me a few times now, and it only occurs when I am wading through shallow streams.

Something will sting me & I become poisoned and feverish. I look down at my leg and there is some strange circular mark. No bandage type that I carry seems to work on it.

1) What is causing this? I have since stopped wading in streams.
2) What cures it?

It's a stingray, not sure what heals it as I have only been playing a few hrs, but I *think* you can heal over time - worst case scenario

Rash, caused by ants or bees possibly, watch out for ant nests looks like a sandy coloured little hill about a meter high.

Bees you can hear watchout for them on trees Beehives give honey they also leave a rash if they bite you.

Heals over time , sleep helps speed it up. Eat ash
Make a leaf bed if you dont have a shelter.
Wound, Lily bandage ,Tobacco bandage for snake and spider bites. Ash bandage for cuts.
Refer to your survival notepad often.
It upgrades with yout exploring and experiences.
Either open the backpack then notepad on the right medical sign
Or press the C key to open a mini menu select the medical sign
Be safe :)

only thing in water that poisions currently is sting rays you can easily see them swimming about in the water :) liek with any poisions from rattle snakes and wandering spiders use tabbaco band-aids to cure it

safer to wade in streams than the jungle if you ask me, a stingray is both easier to see than a brazilian spider and much easier to kill and as a bonus makes a meal...

not to mention once you learn the map streams become vital navigational roadways

It's from a stingray. Use a tobacco dressing to treat it.

Yup, stingray, usually clipping through the ground so you don't see it. You can heal it.

Stingray huh? I guess I overlooked it. I tried both tobacco and ash bandages... does not work.

Thanks all!
