There are some questions about Changed-special that keep popping up, we should probably have made a thread like this long ago.

What is Changed-special?

Changed-special is a remastered version/remake of the original Changed.

changed-special是changed的加强版/重新制作版

What is different in Changed-special?

The game is much bigger overall, with more rooms, puzzles, encounters, animations, pictures, characters and story. Existing content was also updated in every way.
It also addresses the big imperfections in the original, such as the RNG reliance.

changed-special拥有更多动画/更多图片/更多谜题/更多剧情，以及更多数都数不过来要素，并且一切都在原版的基础上进行了优化

How can I play Changed-special?

A demo for Changed-special is currently available under "Tools" in your library if you own Changed. You can also access it from the main menu of Changed.

What is the plan for Changed-special?

When the game is finished, every Changed player will get the full version of it for free,
it will switch places with the original, both being permanently available to anyone who buys Changed on Steam.

Why can I only play up to a certain point?

The Changed-special currently on Steam is just a demo.
It is not kept up-to-date with latest development versions.

Why can other people play beyond that point?

The latest development versions are a reward for Patreon supporters, who help with development. ( 10$+ tier, patreon.com/DragonSnow )

Why is the latest version only for Patreon supporters???

Because Snow is greedy.

Alright, fine, he's greedy, he says, okay?

But also keep in mind that the demo is available in many different languages and it would be impossible to coordinate translations for those for every new version. With every update, all languages would be removed again.
And in my personal opinion, experiencing a game in tiny pieces is detrimental. The original plan for development didn't even involve Patreon after all.

Are there any common questions I missed?

New endings have already been added, but I probably shouldn't go into detail about then, though.

you mean added in demo or in full game ? if we are talking about demo - i already saw new demo endings and just asking if they're gonna me more detailed/reworked in full game. if you are talking about the full game - then i am looking forward to see them! ty again :).

Hello, I played this game a long time ago, but I didn’t download it from the official website. Just a few days ago I bought "Changed" from Stem. I haven't been this happy about a game in a long time. And when, after beating the game to almost all the endings, I noticed the button in the “Changed_Special” menu. I've never been so excited about a beta version of a game. And having completed it to the end, I was delighted, I’m really looking forward to the full version. Even though a lot of time has already passed for its development, I’m ready to wait some more. The idea of ​​playing through the game in chunks using Patreon doesn’t really interest me; I want to enjoy the whole edition. I wish you success in development, kick me when the full version comes out. ;]

They made the special version wayyyy more sus than the original version. Which i know will deter a lot of newer players to this game and might as well for the fans who were invested in the original games concept/narrative or wholesome content. To the point where the fetish-ey scenes, cannot be simply overlooked due to how frequent they are, and especially with the female trans-furs, posing, and etc... While yes i'm aware of f12, but that doesn't necessarily imply others will be fortunate enough to have taken note of it. Will there be anyway to revert changed back to the original version or at least do something about the suggestive stuff the special edition offers after the original has been fully replaced? :/
