Odd controller issue

I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem or has experienced this before. Sekiro isn't 100% using my Xbox One controller. Button inputs are not registering and the only thing that works is movement with the joysticks in game. The joysticks don't work for navigating the menus though. Steam recognizes my controller fully and I can use it just fine in other games I own. Any tips?

I've tried methods that I've seen like putting the controller in the first USB slot or having the keyboard unplugged when trying but they didn't do anything.

Did your controller work at one point or has it always been like this? I've already played the game with this same controller so I don't know why anything would have changed.

Yep, now only sekiro does not work with my controller

I've been trying to fix this issue since yesterday.

Conflicting drivers
Devreorder
DS4Win
HID
And others

Nothing resolved. Looking through the Steam threads, I noticed that the controller issues started appearing again after August, which makes me believe that a Windows update may be involved. Combine with the terrible Sekiro input megenament and we get this.

Can't confirm this windows theory, what i recommend is test the solutions and hope for the best.
