Guardian ape a bane of my existence 🥲

Guys so today I manage to kill 3 bosses , lady butterfly , Genichiro (second encounter) , and many many many mini bosses , but somehow , I can’t beat guardian ape , cracking up his first phase , no problem to me but as long as this hairy f picks up his swords it’s over for me , so that’s why I’m here my dear community , could someone give an advice on the second stage , since this boss is an absolute cancer for me and I sure it’s the hardest in the game (my experience)

I decided to do other things and power up a bit before attempting the monkey. It definitely helped me and made the first phase easier. The second phase is actually not that hard with quite a bit of openings to punish

Thx , tbh you’re second phase is not that difficult, but somehow, I only managed to take away half of the apes health bar and then I was so screwed

when he moves sword around in a funny way and then slides on belly thats when theres a way to run behind him slightly moving sideways and running past him, then you will be behind him.

when he slides on belly , move behind him by running past him, free damage.

Deflect until he stands up on his hind legs and does this wiggle thing. Then deflect the overhead and he'll stagger and be kind of kneeling in front of you. At this point use the spear prosthetic on his neck hole (the one with the pull). It'll do a chunk of damage and take a lot of his posture.

Get out after you've used spear since he'll usually do the terror kanji thing, iirc.
