For the record, I'm doing sl1, so I have 0 damage and get 1shot by mostly everything.
This is a joke, there's no way they designed this boss and thought "Yeah, this is challenging"
Having played Dark souls 1, 2 and 3, and Sekiro, Headless Ape genuinely takes the cake for the worst designed boss in the game.
First you fight a boss you've already killed, then, in a game all about fighting enemies one on one, you fight 2 bosses. Wonderful.

I've been looking around for some help on reddit and stuff and by god what the people said is just laughable, most common one being "The apes never attack together, its always just one" which is plain out wrong, as pretty much all of my deaths are to one of them stunning me and then the other finishing me off instantly after.
I heard the long spark helps, it deals 0 posture damage, wonderful.
My only hope is, as I read, oil and flame, but seeing as I don't even have time to stand still, I have a hard time believing I'll throw some oil on her.
I wanted to do an all bosses but I should have skipped them. There's no skill here, I feel like I'm gonna have to resort to the "New to Sekiro" strategy of running around like an idiot and getting a hit in now and then. The Long Spark doesn't even do anything half the time, and when it does, the posture damage it does is recovered in ~3 seconds
My favourite part of the fight is in first phase, when the ape does an attack, then does the terror scream, then repeat, repeat, really drags on an already annoying fight.

I tried the oil + flame, its the closest I've gotten so far, however it takes me several minutes to actually do that once because the second I even stand still for a picosecond, both the apes already start an attack.

The strategy i used on my no emblems demon bell and charmless run was to bait out the scream attack, and try to get a couple hits in with the brown ape.
I havent used prosthetics much, so i dont know if its actually better, plus you deal tiny damage.

That don't work for me but yay.
I got her to 0 hp, but for some reason she wouldn't stagger. Both of them attacked at the same time and that's it. This is the worst boss in fromsoftware history, and I've seen Jori

Skill Issue is one, but calling others (better people) lieyers just because you can't replicate strategies they doing claiming it doesn't work is rude and dispicble.
You can't proof anything what you say because noone of that is true

1.I have no idea what you saw with your eyes but surely it wasn't the thing you talking about.

2.people which trying to replicates strategy that is not even theirs not only not giving credits original creaters and behaving like it's their own concept. (It calls stealing and plagiatory) and when said strategy fails (aka. when they suck at replicating said strategy) they calling creators for making strategies wrong, which is what you doing all time.
