Games that do NOT sell well usually have sales often.

Some games that flop hard often have 50-75% sales within a few months after release.
And sometimes third party sites sell them for dirt cheap.
There are many examples.


Sekiro likes to go on 50% sale.
You wish list it and steam will email you.(That is when I bought it).


You can check Steam Database how often a games goes on sale and other metrics.

Fifa 24 was soo bad it was 95% discount. That tells you the cost of making repeat games.
