Is there a place where I can farm Fulminated Mercury and Adamantite Scraps

I need these materials for upgrading and Don't know where I can farm them

The Mercury can be farmed from interior ministry guys all around, if I'm not mistaken. I think the Adamantite Scraps can easily be farmed from the purple shinobi around Ashina Castle, like the one right next to the Antechamber idol.

[Octopuses]

I farmed them from the cannon guy above the poison pool idol. I think you have to have demon bell activated for them to drop it though.

There are also some scattered around ashina castle, like behind the new seven spears miniboss. All of this is available only after you beat divine dragon.

I wouldn't worry about the upgrades until NG+ or onwards. They're all quite expensive in addition to the material rarity, and you can't upgrade all in the first playthrough, anyways. They will drop rarely from late-game enemies, but earlier if using Demon Bell + Mibu item discovery balloon.

Sen gain in the first two playthroughs is quite poor, as well. If you just wanna try everything, I get it, but prosthetics definitely do not carry in this game if not used in particular ways that require boss knowledge to work. May as well wait I say
