so i backed up my save looked over on reddit and someone said to go offline mode to not corrupt the files ... after 300 deaths to isshin managed to beat him got the bad ending exit the game changed the folder back started the game and moved on to beat the most rage inducing boss i`ve fought so far ... OWL from hirata estate from 3 PM i`ve managed to beat him at 9:40 PM , just now realise that im still offline mode , restarted steam and now it shows me that i`ve got shura ending isshin and owl at the same time... :| wtf

I will say that I did far more than fix a few things. I had to re-write nearly everything you typed. You never capitalize your letters and you usually put a space before your punctuation marks. You also don`t use apostrophes correctly. Though I will admit apostrophes and other punctuation marks can be hard to use properly even for someone who is a native English speaker. Proof reading and editing is not an easy job. But like I said. It was a fun challenge.

Sekiro is 100% offline my friend there is no “anti cheat” thing , people use mods and hacks or whatever there called , and only went offline bc i tried to find a post on reddit that actually helped not some dumb thread or youtube vid , the only one i found was this guy who said to go offline change that move that there and so on so the files won’t be corrupted!

Sekiro is 100% offline like i said and has no connection to internet as far as im aware its not like bloodborn or darksouls ! Im might be wrong tho but this is what i have been reading on reddit and sekiro forums !

And i feel so bad and i wanna delete the game bc i kind of wish i never backed up anything just to get all the endings and all that Bs ... im missing now the father surpassed and true corrupted monk achievements ... and i truly don’t want to go in the NG+ and fight owl again that was a pain in my ass i started the fight around 3pm and finishedd it around 9:30 pm ... the only “cheese” that i found on yt was to stay close to him as possible and hit 2 3 times and deflect , firecrackers incoming dogde foward and attack ... i feel so stupid I should’ve played the game how was intended ! I don’t think there is a way to reset all the game and achievements

Backing up and restoring while online won't corrupt your files, either, as long as you don't do so while the game itself is trying to load or save. Again, that holds true for all FromSoft games.

While there's no "online" for Sekiro, as you've discovered, the client does have to be connected to Steam to get the achievements. Do you still have your backup to re-fight Owl?

i was afraid to lose the 30+hours save that i had so the only thread i found was to go off like i said ...well point taken from now on ill never back save or anyother BS like that now im going to create a new thread and ask people something , might be really stupid but fml ... i hate that i lost father surpassed and true corrupted monk achievements

I kept saves for most of the boss fights. If you want, I can probably upload the one at Hirata Owl somewhere for you just to get the achievement. If you back up your current progress, you could reload that immediately after beating him and play on from where you left off.

There's actually a save editor on nexus mods where you can multiple save points at where the bosses are
