Other games like Sekiro
This thread is more like a review but i am interested in other gamers opinion in this matter.
I find Sekiro combat system is one of the best in the genre. I desperately tried to find a game like this and i listed them in order to the experience of the fights similar to this:

1. Sifu
2. Wo Long
3. Lies of P

My biggest disappointment was Elder Ring because its implemented the Dark Souls "roll like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥" combat system instead of trying to find a balance or an option to play the best combat system ever produced (by them ).

Sifu was the closest to the flow experience. Its perfect like Sekiro but the game itself is quite different (kung-fu beat 'em up, linear levels...etc). Anyway it is my second favorite after Sekiro.

Wo Long has a good fight mechanic almost like Sekiro. The dumb story and the mind blowingly unnecessary complex loot and character management system is not for me.

Lies of P. Sekiro like combat system and Dark Souls-like enemies. Very slow wind up attacks hits in 0.2 seconds from building sized enemies. It was really hard to get used to it and it was sometimes frustrating. Also for an unknown reason you have to parkour in some levels and the game was not designed for that so it was really underwhelming experience from that point of view.

I have not played Ghost of Tsushima but i am on PC so i am excluded from that experience.

I really hope that new games will implement the Sekiro-like combat system because Sekiro 2 isn't gonna happen any time soon.
Do you know any other combat mechanic game like Sekiro (i would be surprised if you do)? Why is the "roll like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥" combat sytem still compete with this one in soluls-like genre? What is your list of games compared to Sekiro from this point of view?

There is a game called kannagi Usagi, but it's a trashy weeaboo looking game. I honestly don't think there is anything that has successfully emulated Sekiro nor does anything come close to resembling it, which you seem well aware of.

I was also hugely disappointed by Elden RIng being Dark Souls 4. Don't know if I even expected them to iterate on Sekiro's combat system for ER, but I expected something that was new in the same way that Sekiro was new for its time.

I agree it would've been amazing had they focused on developing the game with the parry system in mind.

I have since learned to appreciate ER as its own unique experience, but for sure Sekiro set the bar high and it hasn't been met since, neither by From Software, nor any other studio.

For me it's Thymesia - the mixup Sekiro/Souls combat with a good variety of special weapons. You can play this game with ypour preference to dodge or deflection. Both styles and they mixing are viable, thoug deflection style is preferable due to damage bonus. And there is parry reward - the stricter the parry window you choose the greater the damage to enemy's posture.
But this is an indie game with all the usual shortcomings of such games: weak narration, modest design, visual poverty, low animation's quallity and video staging and so on...

Kannagi Usagi is the only good Sekiro-like.

Furi is a bit like Sekiro but its got some bullet hell sections that may not be exactly what your looking for. But its a fairly cheap and short boss rush type of game, it also has the Onnamusha DLC which basically completely overalls the combat

I'm looking at " Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance".

Game got sword system with parry, block. Looks very fun.

Missed sale , but will definitely get it
once I'm done with Sekiro and Sifu.
play Wo Long instead.
alot faster compared to Sekiro and offers great challenge, too!

can even be played coop, and character customization is great.

Whatever you do, don't play Thymesia. It's like Sekiro if it was aborted halfway through, but still survived.

For a nice indy game I could suggest Tails of Iron. If Salt and Sactuary is 2D dark souls, then Tails of iron is kind of like 2D Sekiro. It has perilous attack that you need to block, dodge or parry with visual prompts. Nowhere near like Sekiro, but it is fun especially if you get it on sale.

The only that comes close for me is Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.

Unending Dawn possibly but it has a lot of red flags for now.
