I didn't play much of the souls games. They depressed me with their environments. Sekiro is fantastic and I'd say go buy it.

When it comes to combat. It's the best. You can be so creative with how you deal and counter, damage.
When it comes to builds you can throw that straight into the trash can.
When it comes to world, story and characters. That's really up to you and what you like. Though, if you count it as a souls game, it's the easiest souls game to follow when it comes to the story and what to do.
Also, just like the rest of the souls series, you press one button, at the right time, to avoid taking damage, pretty simple.

Have fun and remember that if you struggle, sekiro is the definition of a skill issue :)

imo, best game of all time. ♥♥♥♥♥ on all other fromsoft games tbh, once the combat starts to click (usually after genichiro) theres nothing better. recommend going for purification ending (or dragons homecoming) to start and fight Ishin (glock saint) sword saint. you'll learn more from this fight alone than the entire game combined.

If you consider the Soulsbourne series to be among the best Action/Adventure games ever made and Sekiro to be one, if not THE best game ever made by FromSoftware, then you can easily say the following:

Sekiro is likely around 30-40 hours long(well paced too) depending on playtrough it is somehow a sub 20GB game and the art style is very well done and the game also looks good.

perfomance is 60fps even on my old GTX 1660+I7 4770 on max settings no mblur or depth of field.

One of the best combat systems ever done.

Stealth system is good too and fully optional.(but recommend to be used).

I found both English and the default JP VA good.

But it is more difficulty than dark souls and has a steep learning curve but once you master combat it is an easier game.

Only downside compared to souls that is has less build vareity and less secrets and exploration.

And it has very limited online with zero coop or pvp.

I can easily recommend it if you are ok with a difficult game.

I could easily recommend this game even in 2050.......

In fact so many crap gets released nowadays that it makes Sekiro look even better in comparison.......

It's my favourite souls game, the story is very good, it's different from the fromsoftware meta where you have to discover the lore (which is also cool) this game has a linear story line with 4 different endings and all of them are cool, esepcially the bad ending, i finished the game 5 times and got all achievements, gotta say, it's soo worth
