HOW TO FIX THE FORCED HDR.

If alt tab and switching if off windows setting doesn't work.
simply. "while in game" go to "sound and display" and just turn HDR off.

I only make this cause google, redit, and youtube fail to give simple answers.

This ♥♥♥♥ was driving me insane for a while. Except the game would literally be a black screen if HDR was on, and it forced itself on every time I launched the game. if you go into %appdata% and find the sekiro folder, you can edit GraphicsConfig.xml to change fullscreen to windowed which fixed it for me and allowed me to actually see the game so i could switch off HDR. Seems like the combination of fullscreen + HDR just completely breaks my game.

Also, if you're not on an HDR monitor and FromSoft games look washed-out to you (darker colors showing up as grey), then there is a general fix for Nvidia users.

In Nvidia control panel -> Display -> Change resolution -> scroll down to "3. Apply the following settings." -> make sure that "Use NVIDIA color settings" is the enabled option as opposed to "Use default color settings."
