Relatar um problema com a tradução
As i've been reading in steam forums, i'm guessing now that it may be related to FPS. Due to i'm playing with 30-40 fps and i have read that parry window is anchored to 60 fps, being decreased for low fps, but idk.
My biggest problem is that most of the time i'm pressing the button (i'm using a ps4 controller, which maybe is adding some delay, idk) a the moment i feel that its correct and sometimes work and sometimes don't facing the same kind of enemy and the same attacks.
Maybe i'm just not able to anticipate the correct timing but its just that it really feels like parry its, as said, not working most of the time.
Yep, it looks like playing 60 fps makes it easier, which is a little dissapointing cause i feel comfy playing at 30 fps but with better graphics. However, it looks like when you are playing at 30 fps it make you feel like everything is going just a little slower but the parry window is code related to 60 fps so its going to be faster anyway even when things look slower for you. So yes, at the end playing 60 fps means that parry window follows what you are exactly seeing ingame, and that make it easier to parry.
But for any reason it still feels like crazy to parry some fasts attacks, i would like to have a bigger parry window though...
However, i'll keep on trying. I'm taking it easier and i'm at least not giving up, which in fact it seems also to fit with the game story.
if you press the attack button on your controller, wolf does the full attack and moves on to the next input you did after that. he will not attack faster if you press the button faster. his attack-speed is fixed.
what could be your problem, is, that you are still in an animation of an attack or something else you want him to do and then press parry before wolf was able to end the initial input you made.
there is no animation/moves cancel in this game. wolf does not cancel one thing that you want him to do for another. hope this helps.
Yup, i realized of the animation delay and the imposibility to cancel animations, which is beign my bigegst issue now.
I'm just keep on trying.
Today i just passed the first phase of genichiro after idk, hours and hours of hitting my head against a block.
Anyways good to see you are slowly learning Genichiro. You will defeat him for sure, he is my favourite boss. Also one good news for you, if you learn Genichiro properly, chances are you will be able to nail most bosses in this game just fine since Genichiro will teach you how to play this game.
good that you took the challenge and still progress through the game
